I am betting the bladders cost too much. Kinda like a nice boat and motor. The boat is the cheap part[laugh]
The outer cover I would think is even more important. Sure Urethane will last longer, but what is the longevity of Vinyl? I think it depends on the owner. I bet there are several here that have Vinyl and it is still going strong, or they have up-graded and sold it or still have it for friends
Not the cloth outer cover is a different story. You could have a Urethane bladder in a cheap cloth with bad stitching and the seams pop the bladder will balloon out like a hernia.
Like BBQ ing a hot dog or a braut. The dog will split, but most thicker skinned brauts won't.
I recommend the H3 to beginners or people that are a little afraid of water because their size is very comforting. That and the stability due to size.
The fact they have a very strong denier cover and urethane bladders is all bonus.
