This is an interesting thread. I can't picture how you could pull this off without developing hypothermia.
I guess if it increases the H3 sales then it will be worth the effort. ole Mike[/quote]

Mike, the pond we were fishing in, Clear Lake near Buhl, Idaho is fed from the water discharge from the Clear Lake Fish hatchery which is the largest Commercial Trout hatchery in the US and perhaps the world. The water temp is pretty much constant year 'round. That is why it is a favorite in the winter for float tubers who are having withdrawals. I got right back to the rig, put on some dry clothes and wa-la no hypothermia. [Wink]

My main purpose for starting this thread was to remind everyone that accidents do happen even to experienced folks like myself. It is not to bolster the sales of any particular rig. In fact, I wound up with a pontoon boat not an H3. I may buy one someday but I want to actually see one in the flesh first.

I am just as likely to go back to my old fashioned, tried & true BAGMAKER round tube. I stay nice & warm in it with my good old, trusty BARE brand (Not an paid advertisement) neoprene waders & I can use my SIMMS breathables for wading & my antique FISHING CAT pontoon boat (Not an paid advertisement either)[Image: happy.gif]
