That is the craziest license checking story I have heard. I have no problem with the F&G checking up on us outdoorsmen. They have been very helpful and courteous each time we've been checked. Furthermore, they have been a good source of advice and direction.
My complaint is with the regulations. I am a graduate student learning to be a member of the healthcare community but reading the regs makes me feel like an idiot. Boundaries are hard to locate, verbage is unclear, and limits vary by both species and location. Very difficult indeed.

I know this isn't the point of your post but...where is that canal? lol I mean we really do miss going and catching scrappy bluegill and bass. Salt Lake is not so far that we wouldn't make that drive.
