It's also not just the remote locations like Daniels or the destination locales like Henry's. I personally have seen people rather blatantly poaching on the South Fork at the pali
es power house. I watched 2 guys catching several fish and noted that one had put 3 on a stringer that I saw. I wasn't in position to identify species on the first one so I just kept an eye on him. He put one other fish on the stringer that was a legal brown. After that I noticed several fish caught and released (I suspect they were suspicious of my interest). Eventually they got ready to leave and offered us their hole. They picked up their stringers ('til then I only knew of 1) both loaded with 6-8 fish each, only one that I could tell was not a brown. The rest I'm almost 100% certain were all browns. I reminded them of the regs to which their reply was they could keep all the rainbows they want though. As they left I did call the IDFG. About 10 minutes later a fish cop came in and started checking people (about 15 by this time) and measuring catches. No one else appeared to be abusing the fishery but I always keep an eye out for the truck that I saw those 2 leave in. I figure in the future if I see it I'll probably just put in a call and wait for F&G to show up before I even go down there.
