Daniels 23 tickets so far
#6
Last summer while I was out there I got checked. The game warden actually sits in his truck or on the hill and looks for people with a spotting scope. There was a group of about ten hispanics or so fishing there last year with worms but they said they didn't know. I have no idea if this is true but they stopped when I told them they were breaking the law. Also an interesting thing, my family gets the Malad newspaper. It tells you what tickets were issued during the week. About 90% or so of the people ticketed for breaking IDFG rules seem to be from Utah. In response to basically forgetting about it because you can't do anything about it, this is not true at all. IDFG can go to someone's house and check their freezer if they want to. People are ticketed quite often on the Owyhee river (just over the Oregon boarder) for keeping the brown trout. Now I know that this is not in Idaho but it is the same. Fly anglers give them tips, then Oregon's fish and game checks their freezers at their house. I have heard of this happening on numerous occasions. I'm just saying, there is a way you can make a difference. You shouldn't just forget about and say there is nothing you can do about it when there is.
