I wouldnt mind having a new 4 stroke motor for my boat this year. those new merc's look nice, but I am a bit concerned about the additional weight.
I have a 15 horse johnson that weighs 50 pounds, the new 15 merc weighs 85 pounds, and since my fat compost bin and the motor sits in the back of the boat I would have to do some major weight redistribution.
I already moved the batteries to the front of the boat, maybe its time to move the gas tanks to the front, but that means my guest wont be able to smoke anymore.[crazy]
