I actualy fished for and caught some last July trolling in Big Elk. I used the standard koke stuff, dodgers and spoons, dodgers and hootchies. We boated 4 from 14 to 17 inches and lost a few more. Caught some browns also. We went back in August and they were gone. Someone told me they spawn early in that lake. You can find them in Big Elk Creek in mid-August. I plan to try it more this summer, I will let you guys know how we do !!
