Are these lakes all pack in lakes? I know Rice & Long are. Never heard of Red Mountain or Independance Lakes. Are they pack in lakes too?
Horsethief can grow some BIG fish if they would manage it differently. I fished it on the very first day it was open when I was a kid. It opened on Memorial day about 1970 or 1971 , something like that. We were catching trout up to 6 pounds in our float tubes that weekend.
