Thoughts on Mud Lake

I know how you feel. Fish facinate me too and part of the fun is trying to find them and figure them out. A few Saturdays ago up on Ririe my son and I were catching kokonees earlier in the day. They were just tap,tap, tapping away at our terminal gear and finally we would hook one after 8 or ten strikes on our part. Then in the afternoon around 3:30 they really started smacking our lures aggressively. No tap but a good whack! Then we usually hooked em on the first hit. Go figure! Wonder why the change in attitude? and what a tude at that.
