In the colder months the Mac's will be all over in the water column , up in the swallows in 10' all the way to 100'
you really don't need a downrigger this time of year,
the Mac's prefer 48* to 52* water so in the winter
the water temps. is a lot lower than that, so all they care
about is eating, and that means chasing the bait fish
were ever they might be ?
