Jan and Feb Fly Fishing

This is just the beginning of one of my favorite times of the year to fly fish. As it warms up the fishing just gets better, untill the high water comes, then I don't do so well. The catch rates are really good now if you can find them. I've been finding them in slower water, or when the midges are hatching, they show themselves to you and it is more fun. I think the important thing is to go on a day when it is relatively warm, like at least thirty degrees or so.
