I heard Ririe was slow on Saturday. Not for some of the fishermen who got there before most of the four-wheelers and snowmachine started running around.
Want success on Ririe - get away from the crowd or get there early before all the activity starts. Change the depth of you lures to deeper during the day. Around noon the kokes were 25 to 30 feet down. I saw groups with 20 to 30 kokes on the ice and I got my kokes by 9 a.m. and 14 perch before noon.
Everytime a four wheeler would come by or someone near me would start a power auger, the fish would disappear. Half an hour later they would start hitting again.
