Fished Nickajack from daylight til lunch. Threw a crankbait and a rattle trap for the majority of the mornin and no luck. Covered a lot of ground! Water temp in the back water areas was nearly four degrees colder than the river. Finally caught a good keeper on a jig on rip rap. Local tournament yeilded 2 limits of 15lbs plus, but most other guys seemed to struggle. Stuck with the jig after I got bit, but either they just weren't there or hadn't moved up shallow enough. Hopin this warm weather over the next week will really turn em on!
