So I know it's the season to drill holes and fish in them, and I'm a pretty dedicated ice fisherman too, but today I made it out for my second fly fishing trip of the year. Both trips have been really productive. I've been going on the Henry's Fork upstream from Ashton. Today I didn't get any really big ones 16 and fat was the biggest, but I lost a big one. Most fish have been coming on a leach pattern, or small bead head nymphs. Today there was a pretty good hatch of midges so that made it even more interesting.
