You've got to be real careful. I took my daughter to the kids fishing pond by Gem Lake when she was 3. She caught a fish and was doing real good job reeling it in until it started to fight, it scared her and she didn't want anything to do with it. What could I do I had to reel it in and release it. A fish cop came over and was going to give me a ticket. I told him how the fish scared her and I had to reel it in to release it. He let me off with a stern warning. My Brother in law was fishing with his two daughters, the fishing was slow so the kids wandered off, he got a ticket for fishing with three poles.[:/] When fishing with kids you got to be extra careful there are numerous ways they can nail yah that seem innocent at the time. Last week I saw some guys fishing at Ririe had five poles each, then some buddies of theirs started catching some fish so they each reeled in one pole and headed over to their buddies holes and they were gone for the rest of the day leaving all their other poles in the water. I'm pretty sure you would get a ticket for that.
