I love to troll the beach at night.
Seems to work out better for me than casting from the shore. [
] No crowds to tangle with..... I was the only guy trolling the beach Friday night!
I troll bommer long a's. If they can not see them I think they hone in on the sound.
I agree, tried the soft plastic trout lure with no success. Most fish marked at around 12-15 feet deep in 20 feet of water. Needed something to trigger them. Thought a lure that dives three-six feet deep and rattles might do the trick. Sorry I'm rambling. Anyway, I'm still looking for a big striper.
