Absolutely what TD said. I have four different tubes right now with inflatable seat and have had two in the past and I have never had the seat leak. We are talking over ten years of use also.
I would take a patch kit which I do even on a couple hour outing. Aquaseal will work but it takes time to dry, so if you can score the patch tape, I suggest always carrying it.
One more thing I would like to add that might help you decide, we had two of the older SFC with the foam seats. Mine never bothered me, but I am a light weight. My hubby (at the time of the SFC) was around 180. He hated the seat, and ended up putting plexi-glass in on top of the foam to make it more rigid. He loves the inflatable seats because you can adjust the rigidity.
