The ice is on the lake by october and off most small lakes by end may mid june. You can usually get on Great Slave Lake by 1st week of July.

The Lakes are breaking on time if not a tad early this year. Just waitting for the ones that are open to warm up a couple degrees so the fish get more active. I'll find the web site link and post it for Yellowknife, for all to enjoy.[ Smile
