] I cut my teeth ice fishing on Fish Creek reservoir. Quite a fertile lake that grew the rainbow trout to 3 or 4 pounds and some nice brookies to 1-1 1/2 lbs. The concrete on the dam is crumbling before our eyes and rated unsafe to some point. The irrigation company can't raise the money privately and Federal funds are in short supply to rebuild private dams, so the dam continues to crumble.
A friend and I enjoyed 12 years ago jigging off bottom with curly tailed jigs with a piece of worm. Hooked two or three fat 3- lb trout with his son losing one at the boat that went about 5-lbs. Caught several others in the 12-14" range. Good times are over there unless they can rebuild the dam.[frown] DeeCee
