Crayfish through the ice?

The traps I have are just the cheap ones from sportsmans or walmart. We do alot better by baiting some bricks that are painted bright colors with a string tied to a pop bottle for a float and then we dive for them. The traps will catch some but if you dive down to see what the traps are actually doing there will be dozens of crawfish all piled up on them trying to figure out how to get in. Snorkling for them is alot more fun and a good workout. We've caught hundreds of them in just a few hours diving before. And then the feast is on. HHMMMMMMM Fresh Idaho Lobster.
