Crayfish through the ice?
#3
I have heard of many setting traps in the fall, and doing well. I would assume it would be legal in the winter, but no guarantee. I agree with Belasko my son loves to catch them through the ice, which he has caught about three over the years. It is pretty cool to see a crawdad come out of the hole; not as cool as a Rexburg gold fish, but still note worthy. If you pursue this I would be interested in a report I usually spend the day at Ririe, and I would be happy to sacrifice a pole for a trap and check it every few hours.
