I think that the Z Axis and the St coix are in a different class That being said, I am not much of a fan of the LU rods any most weights. But the 9' 7 weight is a great rod. I have one myself and it makes a great drift boat rod for throwing streamers or great big dries with droppers.
I still think that the SP 590-2 is the finest casting rod Sage has ever made. Personally I am a fan of Scott. I have thrown just about every Sage, Scott, and Winston out there and I like the Scotts best for most trout fishing. If you like dries and soft rods the G2 does that as well as any and for faster actions the S3/S4 cast incredibly well.
