cheep ice anocrs,
use a one inch diamiter green branch section twice the diamiter of the hole you are fishing out of.
use disposable rope, "biodigradable"
cut one or two extra holes behind the sled
if you use one hole tie two sectioins of rope to your branch and shove the branch to the bottom of your hole and turn the branch so it wont come back up. a gaft works well.
then tie both ropes one to each corner of your sled.
if your hole freezes up you can cut the rope and be out virtualy nothing. if it dosnt you can retreive your ancor with your gaft.
if your not allowed to have a gaft in possestion, a forked branch works just as well when it comes time to retreive your ancor.
