arrow fletching jig questions
#4
I have used a Bitz my whole life and it is great. Dad was a small archery tackle dealer and worked on bow and made arrows. I grew up with it. Best for the money. But I have used the multi fletchers and if it is nothing fancy then you can make them work just fine. I also have used a single stand fletcher and forget the brand as I taught Archery for scouts and we did some arrows. It was awful. It was too light for the wooden shafts and would tip over at the slightest bump or breeze.

BTW I have only made wooden and fiberglass arrows so the light aluminum and carbon arrows might work fine. I didn't like the clamp since it had no reference point for placing all feathers or vanes in the same location each time.

If you only do a dozen arrows a year you could get by with some of the cheaper ones but the Bitz is the best I have used.
