Some times when the lake has been lowered to below 15' or less and we have a long cold winter . There is always a winter kill . It seems like a waste to let them go to waste under the ice . I don't know but it seems like if there were a few hole punched in the ice it would lets some of the gas caused by the moss trapped under the ice escape and cause more oxygen for the fish . Plus a few less fish the more air for the ones that are left . Just a thought . Thanks Curt G.
