]fished pelican lake on friday and the fishing was great for me. I caught over 100 big bluegills and a ton of largemouth bass the biggest was only 14" inches. The bluegills i caught were out in the deeper water and the largemouths seemed to be everywhere i casted. It was a great trip but was really hot nearly cooked myself but managed as long as i kept the sun block on and the head net to keep the bugs out of my face.
