I don't know anything about the ice conditions there, but I believe if your machine is licensed in your home state, Idaho will recognize that and it is all that is needed. Yes, ATV must be registered. It used to be a sticker, but starting this year, it must have a plate. Same as with the snowmobile, if you are legal in your home state you should be fine here also. At least that is how it has been.... There are a bunch of new laws taking affect this year.
