Good ice in the bay and canyon at Big Elk creek. The rest of the lake was trying to freeze on Sunday morning. Fished it both Saturday and Sunday and did just dandy. Ice is maybe eight inches at best and not the best quality. Be sure to bring a plank as the shore is rotten as usual. Be careful on any part of the lake other than Big Elk as it is very new ice.
