Floss Blow Line?

[size 4][font "Garamond"][#008000]Growing up in difficult times to many of us the luxury of a rod/pole and reel was just something we dreamed of owning. Still we wanted to fish and the best next thing was using a long cane pole. We would tie on a length of kite string and a very small hook. Bait was either a dough ball or a piece of bread crumb. Sitting at the end of a make shift diving board we would dangle our bait on the surface to entice sunnies or perch to have a meal. Sometimes we would use terrestrials as our choice of bait. Now I would hardly call that fly fishing.
Which brings me to the point of dapping – is this really fly fishing? BTW here is the definition of Dapping:
