arrow fletching jig questions

I've got a plastic one, I think made by BPE. It is actually their adjustable model, and I think it works just fine. I've not used the Bitzenburger models, but I hear great things about them. I have a friend that has one of those speed fletchers, and I never really liked the results he got from it.
