The ice on the NorthEast side is okay. About 4-5 inches. It is soft around the edges though. You kinda have to jump from the rocks onto the solid ice because there is about 3 feet os slush before the ice.
I was there for a short time today with Ratstar. We were pretty much trying out my new Nil's Ice auger. Which by the way they are awesome! I cut a hole in 5 inches in less then 11 seconds, That is pretty dang good for a 8" manual auger.
But be careful on the ice. When we left it was 3 degrees, so it should be a little better for you tomorrow.
