Paddle bugs come in an assortment of colors I use the white and chartruse the most. You can buy them already rigged with the jig head in packs of five at Walmart or Sportsmans they only cost $1.69 for the five pack.
The downfall is the hook quality is not very good so you can go through a lot of them on big fish.
