Gem Lake Ice Report!!!!

It's really just more of a wide slow area of the Snake River South of Idaho Falls. The reason they call it a lake is there is a dam on the southern end. It's south of I.F. and just north of Shelly. If you take the exit off I-15 at Dad's truck stop it will take you across the river (actually mid gem lake). There are boat ramps on the south and north ends of it.
