Been there, done that!! and it sounds like your stove might be running rich. Vent far more.. Allow lots of fresh air in and nasty air out.

Btw, a 2 gl. bottle of propane and my portable sun on low keeps my shanty 70+ degrees inside while its well below 0 outside.
