Gem Lake Ice Report!!!!

Went out to gem lake today down at the damn with a buddy of mine to check the ice and mabey wet a line. on the drive their we saw that the entire gem lake section of the river is frozen from up above the sunnyside overpass clear down to the damn. got their and there was alot of fresh snow on the ice so at first it was a little bit scary we walked out about four feet and busted out the auger. its sitting at about 4.5 to 5 inches of ice off the boat dock so it was pretty safe we fished for about a half an hour had three bites but never got a hookup. well there ya go figured someone could use the update.
