INFO NEEDED: Canoe float/ trout fishing trip
#2
I just do not know that area in the Cody, Beartooth,/Chief Joseph Highway area well enough to help you. That is on the opposite side of the park from where most of us fish/float etc...

I you want a really peaceful float/ fish and you are not locked into the clarks fork. I would suggest canoeing on Yellowstone Lake or Shoshone Lake.

I have canoed Yellowstone Lake several times. You can get a shuttle to take your crew and canoes back to the wakeless area. From there you can fish and canoe from campsite to campsite for however many days you want.

We always do our caneing in the early morning and then fish later in the day. The wind on Yellowstone Lake can be tremendous but it almost always comes up after 11:00AM.

Sorry can not be of more help if you want more info on canoeing lake let me know.
