Can't afford what exactly? Affordable mortgages!!! It's called the CRA. It was passed in the late 70's. It was a supposed to provide "affordable" mortgages to low income families. Many folks are so hard over on blaming everything on the current pres. Everyone should see this video if you really want to know how this all started and continued to grow through the 80's & 90's. It's a little long but worth the watch .
