I do not know how fast you drive, but from salt to Rexburg is 3 hours so to Henrys is 4 1/2 or 5 depending on the weather.

Sorry I do not know any 24 hour places along the way. Is the Walmart in Idaho Falls open 24 hours? If so you might call them to see if there fishing desk is open 24 hours. The Rexburg Walmart is not open 24 hours.

As for ice fishing other lakes. I am having the same dilemma. I just do not know any other lakes that are frozen that you can get to without a snowmobile and that is iffy because of the warm weather we are having and the lack of snow fall.

Maybe someone else will have some ideas.
