Best Freshwater Waters In Eastern/ Mid-Eastern U.S.

I gotta say Toledo Bend in Louisiana. No "monsters" from a California perspective but loads of quality fish. I've fished this lake with some friends, once every spring, for the last few years and it has been fantastic.Largemouth, Stripers,Hybrids, and Sac-o-lets, with a few cats thrown in and some various large junk fish. However, this year we are meeting at Lake Amistad, perhaps to start a new tradition.
