Hello TDOG
All the above is true information. If you have a boat starting November 21 the NDOW will start planting trout every Friday at Lake Mead. One spot is near the fishing pier on Boulder Beach. The other area's
dle cove is closed until 2012. They have not said where the new location will be.
Either from Boat or shore once the water temp is below 70 degrees the big ones come out. They roam the shorelines in shallow water looking for something to kill.
Casting big lures and slow trolling. is very productive.
Down below the dam is great all year long. The water stays cold 60 and below and they plant trout every friday.
Casting from shore is great all year long. Here is a picture from the day after Thanksgiving last year.
Good luck and hope to see some of your reports.
