[#008000]Hey hunter_man9k,[/#008000]
[#008000][/#008000]
[#008000]That rod will probably do just fine for pitching and/or flipping. But, then again, just about any stout rod would work.[/#008000]
[#008000][/#008000]
[#008000]I use a MH 7' rod for that presentation. I tend to use a line in that situation of about 12 to 14 pound line in light cover or 17 to even 20 pound test in heavier cover - that gives me a margine to horse the fish out quickly when I need to.[/#008000]
[#008000][/#008000]
[#008000]Baits and rigging will depend on the environment and situation. You could use anything from heavier bass jigs to plastic worms to spinner baits.[/#008000]
[#008000][/#008000]
[#008000]As far as knots go; as long as you are making stout knots, and test them out, any of the standard fishing knots will work. I.E. Uni knot, Palomar, Trilene, etc.. [/#008000]
[#008000][/#008000]
[#008000]Oh, one more thing ... Don't waist you money on that $100 gimmick. Just set out an old bucket, cooler, or piece of tarp to use as a target - you could even just draw a circle in the dirt.[/#008000]
