Well said Everett. I have no great love for the cut throat as fighting species, but I certainly do not want them removed by invasive species. We have plenty of other places where that has already happened.

The main reason that nobody wants the rainbows or cutbows to take over the SF is if that were to happen the Feds would step in and control the fishery and maybe even shut it down if the cuthroat population got low enough.

The fish and game are good people who have our best interests in mind for the most part. They are protecting not only the cutthroat but the local economy and even our fishing rights should the Feds step in.
