Decided to try L.P. today, after seeing others doing well the other day. Put the boat in at 1:00 after a nice lunch at the Crow Inn, and got into the kokes immediately. It was a near perfect day of fishing: no early awakening, no water ski boats, no jet skis, in fact, no other fishermen. Sunny, constant action, and good-sized kokanee considering they are next year's class: 12-12 1/2. The fishing was faster than at any time this summer. These are going to be big dudes by next summer! I won't bore all of you on the east side, but if any of the west side crew wants the particulars, P.M. me. I will be heading out for the Sun Valley Jazz Festival tomorrow for two days, so let me know by 8:00 tomorrow A.M.
