Hi there gvanzant,

As you know, I read your article and asked that one question on the color indicator break, but regretted not having included another one. My other questions are 'Have you heard of people using lead core in the salt for say shallow water rockfish?' The guys that flyfish for huge lings and others in the shallows at the Channel Islands and Santa Cruz use a super-sinking line so..... Have you heard if lead core line, actually the covering, stands up against brackish (like the Salton Sea) or saltwater? If it's dacron or stuff like the old spectra, it might well need cleaning after a dunking in the salt.
