Do you have any advice?
#1
Helllo All,
I just recieved the email below and though I would post it herte to introduce this member to our forums. Any help is greatly appreciated:

Hi my name is Shane, and I am a new fisherman. I used to fish a ton as a child, but haven’t since I was about 14 (I am now 31). I got your email off of bigfishtackle.com. My son has shown a lot of interested in fishing, and is 6. I got us set up, and am going to take him out this weekend to fish for Salmon. We are Vancouver WA, and I would love if you could give me some advice. I used to use crawfish as bait for Chinook. As I recall I would bait the tail. Crush the thorax, and toss it upstream and follow it with the tail. I have done a little reading, and have seen a lot of people using eggs. Do you have any advice, or websites that would be helpful? I would like to have a few options with bait. I really want to encourage my son, and think bringing home a salmon would go a long way to helping along his love for the outdoors.
