I appreciate your input. I have seen the ad and just have to try it. One thing is for sure. If it does not work real well the customer will complain and the manufacturer will continue to improve the product. 98 per cent of my fishing is done from a bank or bridge. I have always thought someone needed to come up with something that would let us land fisherman be able to fish as well as those in a boat. 9 out of 10 times the guys in the boats are fishing right where I could be tossing my line from shore. lol Provided we are talking a lake or pond. You said it does not do to well in swift moving water. Have you tried it in saltwater by chance? I have seen nothing that says you can not use it in saltwater and 99 percent of my saltwater fishing is from surf or bridge. I can't wait for this product to get even better. Did not take long for them to come out with handheld GPS so I doubt it will take long for them to even improve this product more. That is if there are enough of us land fishermen that want to be able to do some fishfinding of our own just like our boating brothers.
