Biggest Fish On A Fly Rod

I like to fish the upper Owens River in the fall when the brown trout move up into the river from Crowley Lake.

Also some years in the spring, if the snow isn't too bad the river is great for big rainbows that move into the river to spawn our of Crowley Lake as well.

If nothing is moving in the Owens, Hot Creek is just a little further north and it seems like it always has smaller fish on the bite.
