Hi there guys,
This Report is for May 12, 2003 (Monday)
The fact of the matter is, conditions are basically nearly the same as yesterday and the fish are biting. Same boats too! Counts are lower only because the number of boats that had enough passengers to justify a trip were less today.
One thing about it, the regulars who go rain or shine on a given day, must have had a ball. One thought: The full moon is nearing so if you believe in that sort of thing the bite may taper off a bit for a few days on the local boats.
Same O Same O
Channel Islands - Lots of WSB caught
Catalina- Lots of WSB caught
Clemente- Good numbers of Yellowtail
Coronados- Lots and lots of Yellows
Down and Out- Albies are out there somewhere
Again be sure to take advantage of the discounts and specials now being offered at various landings as when the season runs hot, you won't find many open berths let alone any cheap rides. ha ha
I'll try the Victory tomorrow, hoping to go to Catalina. If not, I sure we'll get into the local barracuda limits bite.
