Using a snap instead of knotting?

I always use snap swivels so I can change lures or rigs faster. Although I do agree with tubeN2 to some degree, I have yet to hook a fish that had a problem with an extra piece of brass on the end of the line. The only time I can see a swivel causing a problem is if it interferes with the action of your lure.
