I'm sorry to hear that you lost your Dad and fishing partner.
I lost my Dad this Spring and will always remember those fishing trips together. We lived in Oregon and would always brave the Spring opener at East Lake out of Bend. We would chain up the old jeep and break snow all the way in. Then launch his old aluminum boat and break ice out to his "honey hole".
I remember freezing all day, but catching fish like crazy. Lots of memories of fishing and hunting to keep me going for a lifetime..
